No reason to make Marcus sit on a long flight back and forth if he’s not 100%. We have over a week off after this game. Let him be healthy for big east play. Get well Marcus!

I see no reason why we cannot win tonight without Lovett.

Agreed. This roster believes that they can win. They belong on the same floor as ASU. The line is 4.5 so Vegas believes so as well.

Yes you're right. It's just that it's so god dam frustrating that he's out or injury limited all the time.

See my above post on how it hasn't been "all the time".

He missed the same 3 chronological games last year, returning "after finals" for Penn State.  A pattern???

I hope so.  He certainly returned to pre-injury form in the 2nd half.

Injuries happens in sports, as the saying goes, "shit happens" then you keep on going.
Trimble and others gotta step up.

Tough loss but not totally unexpected. I hope when LoVett comes back we use him off the bench. We need that microwave scoring and energy on the second unit.

With ideas like this perhaps you shouldn't ever try coaching.

I’ve coached several fantasy teams to championships!

Good one.

In a startling aberration, I have a first round bye this year.  Usually I'm about as successful as your average St. John's basketball team.

Regardless, if Lovett isn’t fully healed, he should rest...  need him for a long league slate.

Is a slate anything like a schedule?  ;) :)

No truth to report Marcus LoVett is out until January, I'm told by multiple people at St. John's. The hope is he plays Wednesday, but staff thinks he'll be ready for Big East opener. #sjubb

Smart sitting him today against inferior comp.  No need to risk a setback.

Would love to see him get a game in before Big East play.

No reason to.  Rest him until BE play so he's ready to go.  All that matters is wins now.  Let's crush St. Joes and move on....
