I want to find that hoodie that UA sent Brandon Tierney (he posted it on his Twitter account about a week ago)

Looked on their website and it's not there yet

Will SJU and UA complete the UA rebranding process this summer? I would like to see a new court with navy blue instead of black detail, a new SJU logo opposed to the current StJ one, and would also like to finally see those awesome skyline uniforms at CA this season. I understand that it is a process but I always assumed this summer would be when we would really start to see the UA effect on the program. Anyone have any insight/info on any potential changes? Thanks.

St.John's posts info about UA on Twitter pretty consistently. It would be nice if they stopped to think, does this matter to St.John's fans? Does it matter to a St.John's fan who isn't 11 years old? They brought these nice persons into a RedWhite function to speak, (poorly) about their new crap. If I had another couple of drinks, I would have started heckling them.
Which nice persons?

I went to the UA Brand Store in Soho yesterday looking for St. John's gear. They only had two (kinda generic) SJU t shirts.  No jerseys or shorts. I was specifically looking for an SJU golf shirt - no dice.

All in all, I've seen little difference with UA so far.
My UA Terps golf polos are my favorite shirts.

Adding Notre Dame is pretty big though. They should be really good in Football this year.

It's amazing how St. John's has been with UA for almost a year and we barely have any items on the teams site or UA's website and Notre Dame just signed with them and they have a bunch of stuff available.  It makes no sense.

More people buy ND football gear at the schools book store in one hour then buy basketball gear at St. Johns in a decade.

I get it. They are the most popular football program, but that doesn't mean that our fans should just get nothing. How hard is it to put out a different variety of items for people to purchase. Hell, they even have a Villanova shirt on their site and they aren't even a UA school. It's practically the same now as it was when we were with Nike.

Maybe UA is still waiting for St. John's to make up their mind on what logo and branding we want. How many people know that St. John's went back to SJU? Hopefully this will be reflected on this years uniforms. Let's face it we are not a priority because we don't win and our fan base has dried up...Notre Dame can sell out Yankees Stadium against the Fordham Rams on a negative -3 degree day. SJU has cannot even have more fans against Syracuse at MSG...Nova shirts still probably outsells SJU merchandise...

SJU needs to win, establish what logos, initials, etc, they want to be and their merchandise will start selling.

UA seems to have risen pretty quickly in the sports apparel market, I'm confident that if people wanted to buy SJU sh*t they would make it available.
But guess what?  There's simply no demand.

My thoughts exactly Nudginator. Why is the insignia and court outline still black and red when the marketing dpt and UA moved to the old school navy/red/white last year?

On the jersey, we had the old style writing across the chest last year throughout the entirety of the season. I know that there were delays with the "skyline" jerseys (which the women had last season) that embraced the most updated font and new school style, but the program needs a consistent image.

I know it takes millions of dollars, and countless forms of print/media that has to be refurbished to rebrand, but hopefully UA and our marketing department have a consistent theme this year.

I think UA has made some cool shirts and stuff that you saw the team wear last year, I just wish you could buy them somewhere. I would have dropped a lot of money for the 718 shirt but I mean I still think UA has been great to them in the first year. Way better than Nike was.

You're not wrong Desco. But if they want to compete with the Nikes of the world, they have to do what Nike ( or Apple, or any of the great marketing/branding companies of our time) does...CREATE demand.

Saw some SJU WBB photos from their shoot from around the city and it looks like they are still wearing STJ gear and uniforms...the school is pushing SJU and we are still wearing STJ it just doesn't make sense...

That's true.   It would also help if we got on a bit of a roll.
I just think the apparel companies have so many schools under their belts, they ride the hot hand.  If Auburn is good.. UA will distribute more of their shirts, if we do our part this year, I'm sure there will be more apparel made available.

You can't be serious. Obviously ND Football is a much better seller, but why have they completely ignored St. John's?  Why sign St Johns in the first place?  Having ND up and running already shows they can do it, they just choose not to for St. John's.  I have to have St. John's gear custom made for my son off Ebay because they can't even put out a youth jersey.  That is just ridiculous.

Some agreements are based on the ability to move product, some on the ability to promote the brand, some both.  I think STJ fits into the middle category.

Can't disagree, but it takes a week or two to offer a few jerseys.  You don't even have to design them....sell that they are already providing to the team.
