Probably should be out recruiting or working with the bigs

Yeah, screw sleeping  and eating too.  The nerve of these guys.

Right, because doing a reality show is similarly one of life's necessities.

He's doing one episode.  What's the big deal? Everyone who does these shows is employed by someone.  Why should Rico get hated on ?  He is clearly trying to support his wife's career.

Agree there is nothing wrong with this at all. It's not like he is going on Naked and Afraid for 21 days,

Sounds like Baldi's Iona senior year spring break.

Guys, don't you understand? When you have a job, you are not allowed to do anything else that doesn't pertain to your job. The nerve of this guy.

The irony, of course, is that Baldi was posting this from work!

Nothing wrong with earning some side $$$.... I bet it takes no longer than a week of time for him to do this...

 Let's not go overboard here....

Unless they put this show on HBO or turn it into a porno, this concept is really stupid and so is the show. Would be a bigger deal if you told me Hines was going to be on Game of Thrones or something.

Always considered it to be a trash show...It's not the fact that is a side job or reality TV, it's the fact that he is representing SJU a catholic university. These shows always add extra drama and make people look worse then they really are...I don't see how this make SJU BB look good...

I don't watch the show but I think you are mistaken about this one, Nudge.  The wives are swapped fir purposes of helping the other family with organization, setting boundaries with unruly children, and whatever other deficiencies the other family is complaining of.  It is a stupid show (IMO) but it is not trashy or violative of any Catholic principles.

SimplyRed, I see your point, and you are  (along with others) probably right about the show not being a big deal. In general I will say it is tacky and something that I do not want my program involved in...It just reminds me of Yanks vs Mets a little bit (Yankee fan FTR), as Yanks are always looking for ways to win, the Mets seem to come out with new uniforms or some kind of other gimmick that does not seem to focus on the ball club.

I am pretty sure Rico is doing this to support his wife (which is )very admirable and not his ideal. If SJU had a better season this probably wouldn't bother me as much.  The perception of this is very gimmicky and tacky IMO.

How is this show going to make him look bad?  You make it sound like he will be on one of those MTV shows or the Real Housewives type.

What I could really use is a "remodel" by the carpenter chick w two first names.. Jessica Victoria? Nicole Victoria ?
Her and the girl who does the rehab of old houses ... make for  great eye candy when the wife makes me watch hgtv and diy on Sunday mornings.

Careful what you post.  Joe3, Realfan, or one of our many other unstable posters might take your invitation literally.
