Ponds or Heron?

IMO, Heron
Both, I believe shamorie is 2nd option right now at the point guard position while heron is our top guy we are after
I have felt for a while Heron, Ponds & Ahmed would be a solid start.

I like Shamorie. Gets buckets and has awesome body control around the basket.

Agree. Any indication he wouldn't mind staying local for college?

Doesn't seem like he is wavering one way or another.

Has amazing body control away from the basket too.  Very high on this kid...most intriguing prospect I've seen from the area in some time.
Write this kid down for 2-3 steals a game in college.

I think this kid should be top priority after Heron for the 16 class. I'm hoping some on this board get a chance to catch a few of his games in the CHSAA this year.

Agreed...I don't see Alkins staying home.  We need to keep this kid in the city.
When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Potential top 50 recruit.  I'd really like to see him play in an all-star game against the best of the best.
He'd look really good next to Lovett.

Also, #sjubb very involved with 2016 Jefferson guard Shamorie Ponds. Said he speaks to staff frequently.

@NYPost_Brazille: Shamorie Ponds on #sjubb: "They're telling me I'm their No. 1 recruit for 2016. I want to go somewhere I feel wanted."

 Recruiting is interesting. :)

Heron Ponds Mussini and Ellison (Lovett?) would easily comprise one of the most dynamic backcourts in the Big East.

What happened to the "staff is confident" line we were hearing everywhere re lovett?
