I don't accept the premise that Harrison needed to mature in the first place, or has significantly changed during his time at St Johns.   He is just slightly less demonstrative than he was when he got here.
But he gets more respect from officials now.

I still think Branch should start. If Jordan must start if he is to play at all then Green should sit. Green burned way to much clock just about killing our chances. Not anything like what you would expect from a senior. I don't think the team has much of a chance to go anywhere but would hate to see them put up a 4-14.

http://www.outsports.com/2015/1/30/7943221/rysheed-jordan-st-johns-gay-twitter-fierce person .

The website keeps changing the f word to fierce person, so just change that in the link and there is a story about a homophobic tweet he sent with a quote from Jordan.

I will tell you this, if he is able to play the next game, and does Jordan /Lavin put team in terrible spot last game in what was a must win situation.

How is it that any different than the Butler game?

If the kid is shaving points he needs to let us know so we all get rich.

This sheds light on a few things

1) That account is in fact Rysheeds
2) Lavin and SJU are now 100% confirming this account belongs to Rysheed
3) Rysheed has been tweeting to his hearts content this entire season

Political correctness  at its best. Non issue to me

He should be suspended for the twitter thing...  Makes him and the school look dumb.... Can we trade "Rysheeds" with Duke, even though they are spelled differently?

I'd be willing to take the risk.

It is funny I was at least smart enough to try  and hide the stupid things I did and thought in college. Don't understand why people think other people want to know all the stupid things they do and say??? I guess I am getting old

This kid just takes up too much f'n time, legit issue or not. Apology issued in Philly from the Rocky statue?

@NYPost_Brazille: Oh boy. Rysheed Jordan tweets his way into trouble for anti-gay message, apologizes @SBNation http://t.co/8ikTs69pAm #sjubb

@NYPost_Brazille: This proves Rysheed Jordan has been tweeting all year, breaking Steve Lavin's social media rule. Still believe the leave of absence story?

@NYPost_Brazille: Maybe the media ban isn't quite working out with Rysheed Jordan? Stunning suggestion, I know. #sjubb

It's not nice, and should probably know better, but I'm not ready to competently throw away the season because he said a bad word that probably 90% of the people he knows use multiple times throughout a day, and think nothing of it.

If it was an isolated issue, sure, i agree.. How much shit should this team, school, and  coach take from this kid?     Enough.

If a coach brings in good players he can cut a problem loose without hurting the other players or the fans. Not saying we are or could ever be on the Kansas level, but hard to imagine coach Self taking any BS at all. Having only 6 guys you have faith in and a bunch of stuff can go wrong. This situation all the making of one man.
