What was your most pleasant surprise  and what was your biggest disappointment  this past season?

My most pleasant surprise:

3-POINT FG PCT    Cl    GP    3FG    3FGA    Pct
1.    GREENE IV, Phil-SJU    SR    18    44    96    .458
2.    BARLOW, Alex-BU    SR    18    36    79    .456
3.    KREKLOW, Rick-CU    SR    17    33    73    .452
4.    ABELL, Remy-XU    JR    18    23    51    .451
5.    ARCIDIACONO, Ryan-VU    JR    18    40    90    .444
6.    SMITH-RIVERA, D.-GU    JR    17    46    108    .426
7.    GIBBS, Sterling-SHU    JR    16    47    112    .420
8.    HART, Josh-VU    SO    18    28    67    .418
9.    HILLIARD, Darrun-VU    SR    18    48    116    .414
10.    CARLINO, Matt-MU    SR    14    48    120    .400
   DUNHAM, Kellen-BU    JR    18    40    100    .400
12.    JORDAN, Rysheed-SJU    SO    17    27    69    .391
13.    HARRISON, D'Angelo-SJU    SR    18    39    100    .390
14.    JENKINS, Kris-VU    SO    18    23    59    .390
15.    TRAWICK, Jabril-GU    SR    18    20    52    .385

My biggest downer was going in to the ever rare tournament game against a long and athletic SDS team without our longest athletic player due to "A cheeba cheeba, y'all, well, I'm a Libra, y'all."

Was reading the one with posters still bashing Lavin and others saying they should be done with all that. Thought I would try for something completely different.

Already one poster confirms what I found to be interesting.  That incredulously reefer is the most compelling story of the 14/15 season.

Doms performance was my most pleasant surprise and CO getting suspended for the NCAAs was my biggest dissapointment. Although lack of a bench was also a big dissapointment.

Dom playing like the player we needed was the most pleasant surprise because it earned us another NCAA tournament berth.  Beating Syracus is very close.

Losing Keith Thomas and ADR to eligibility was probably the biggest disappointment because of how much better we could have been with them.  Then again, maybe Dom doesn't play like the hero he was if KT forced him back to the three.

CO getting suspended was terrible as well.

The best part of the season was when we beat syracuse. The worst part was either the second or third time jordan quit. (i forget) The butler game

Rysheed's Improved shooting was the most pleasant surprise to me.   I didn't see that coming.  His first year and a half here he was simply not an efficient shooter: jumpshots, free throws, threes.... he'd hit occassionaly, but now with the consistency expected from an elite guard.
He turned that around and showed range and consistency from January on.

That's one of the biggest reasons our fans should be optimistic about next season.

I hope one day Phil will be able to escape Carmine's basement. Hopefully it is a circular basement to make him feel somewhat comfortable during his detainment.

I've released him to pursue professional basketball opportunities.

Now how bout that list?  Look at the names he finished above.  He hit 44 three's in conference!  You never would of thunk it.

We all can say Dom and Phil exceeded expectations last season.  Rhysheed did not exceed because we expected a lot from him. D'Lo already had high expectations plus his injury, and Chris exceeded on D, but while improved on offense, did not take the step up we expected.
