None of those three games are even givens anyway.  I think we'll split with Seton Hall.  I see the best case as 14-18, but I think 13 wins is most likely.  12 is also a possibility.

Obviously we would be underachieving big time even with the current talent if they finish 13-19 and 4-14. I agree that it's likely.

And if that is not enough to get Norm Roberts fired in year five, then there is probably no hope.

Remember that when we go to Cincy we will have Malik and Rob back, and DJ will get to play a whole game! (hopefully)

Yes - it is obvious Cincy can be beaten...but on the road with Norm's track record, unlikely.

We have 6 winnable games left - 2 Seton, 1 Cincy, USF, Depaul, Rutgers...I say we win 3 of them.  Home v. Seton Hall, USF, and DePaul.  Actually think Rutgers is going to beat us with Malik out.  And I think Rutgers will have as many fans in MSG as us.

I think we have a chance against Rutgers, especially if Rob can play. I like the spark he adds off the bench.

This team is going to get a winning record.  I know right now it may not seem likely but this team has heart and won't back down from anyone.  Lots of winnable games, cincy, Rutgers, Depaul, USF, Seton Hall twice  We can beat WVU. Already beat ND of course it will be harder at their house.  I know we will upset either Cuse, G-town, Duke, or Marquette.

Wanna bet on that Mrs. Roberts?

ND will beat us by 15+  We beat Cincy last year at home and then they beat us by like 20.  Why?  Because any coach that sees Norm twice in a season has an undeniable advantage.  They will change things that didn't work and Norm won't know how to respond when everything isnt exactly the same.

why do you hate Norm so much? He is going to bring this program back.
Once Boothe is back watch how much better this team becomes.  Next year this team has a chance to finish in the top half of the leauge.

i love norm.  i'd like to see him take the million dollars he's earned at st john's and go retire with his family somewhere.

i'm sure you'd enjoy the same fate.

How can the ACC be better then the Big East when the Big East has 8 top 25 teams and the ACC has 4?

I guess when you have double the ranked teams then the ACC has you must be worst?

Both have 4 teams in the top 10

It is actually an opinion.  75% of the ACC teams could be ranked right now.  They are better at the the top and they are much better at the bottom than the Big East.  Look at the bottom of the Big East:  St. John's, Depaul, SH, Cincy, USF, and Rutgers. Fierce!  STJ is about to go 0-4 against the ACC this year and they played three of four at the Garden!

Just because Saint Johns cant beat the ACC does not make the ACC better then the Big East

You are quite simple aren't you?  I get the feeling that you are somebody messing with us, because you can't really be that dumb and/or naive.  All of a sudden you pop up after the Cincy loss?  You are definately messing around.

I never would lay a claim that the ACC is better than another conference because one team went 0-4.  That might support the argument, but it would never be the center of my argument.

I think UNC will win--and so does every handicapper in the world as they are +250, or 4x worse than any Big East team.  I think Duke and Pitt are in the next tier together.

What really makes the ACC better in my mind is how awful the bottom six in the Big East are.

How am I simple and how am i messing with you?

Is it because i have the audacity to suggest that this team can have a winning record, or that Norm is not a bad coach who is screwing the team up.

Also the bottom of the Big East is terrible, but just the bottom 4.

I don't think that Saint John's and Nati are bad.
