Gonzo mentions SJU
« on: December 30, 2007, 11:56:23 PM »
Gonzo mentions here how not getting the SJU job (and Miami job) ultimately made him stronger. The man is a workaholic and shouldve been the (or one of the) choice(s) at SJU.

Exactly Choz! Could you imagine him losing 2 recruits like Chris Smith and Glover here at SJU. Wonder what these posters would have to say

gonzo is a better game coach and recruiter than norm is.  did norm get both tyreke evans and lance stephenson to come on campus to make visits to SJU? gonzo did for SHU.

why dont you actually go out and watch some of the players that fred hill has recruited for 2008.  how many high school or aau games have you been to in the past year? also, reading is fundamental: ive always said that i thought fred hill is doing a good job recruiting but the jury is still out on him as a game coach.

Maybe they'd say as long as you win the game, I don't care how you do it.
They will blow us out. Gonzo's Hall looks far more promising than our sorry lot.
