Also, I hope Q or Brownlee have the option to redshirt next year and really shine in 2011 - the team will need talent and they would have a lot more playing time, familiarity with the system, and experience.  I'm sure that's not what either wants to do, but it would be a way to help their future careers and for St. John's to help itself in 2 years.

Do you know if he knows that, or is willing to redshirt?

the problem is norm plays favorites and keeps some players in his doghouse.

he has no conception of the flow of the game.  he'll sit a hot player in favor of a knee jerk substitution.

his plays are predictible.

there's a reason we score 40-50 points a game...and it isn't because we have crappy players.

actually Q does know that his minutes are gonna go down but hes cool with because he understands that he'll have to work harder in practice and he appreciates the challenge of the compitition. he told me that himself just 2 weeks ago...

in fact he was unhappy at all the playing time he got last year because he was forced to play out of position.

How do we know if he doesn't?

On BE Boards there's a guy that some have followed for years, but the one thing that always rang true is that no one knows all. Certainly not him.

After several botched predictions, the so called "guru" was proved to be just another loud mouth jerk who couldn't handle anyone disagreeing with him.

I'm content to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

Agreed.  I have no reason to believe anything was seen or heard from pickup bball.

Your ax to grind with bball fan thinking he is oldred is getting to be a little to passionate. Let it go, it isn't him. Its not too hard if you're on campus to look into one of the many glass doors and see whats going on. Its not uncommon for people to do that either.

Have you seen or heard anything substantive about the incoming group?

Didn't realize you could find out about playing time and strategies relating to our players by looking through glass doors.  I could care less if he is OldRed or not, but Classof2013 gets a hard time for reporting things that might not be totally accurate, or as you say "are heard in his lunch room," so I am going to criticize others the same way when I am not convinced that what they are reporting is coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Valid point; certainly, everything on a message board needs to be taken with a grain of salt.  But I'm pretty sure bball_fan isn't Old Red, as well.
