JUCO's
« on: November 02, 2009, 04:45:27 PM »
I know its really early but with such a massive class its a pretty safe assumption that some of the 9 schollies will have to go to JUCO's to even out classes.

Is there any JUCO's we are looking at or it would make sense to look at?  Considering this is their first year in JUCO now I'm sure there aren't any rankings really but at least some players from HS last year that slipped thru the cracks.

Obviously you get the best kids you can, but it will
be VERY VERY difficult to get 7-8 BE level recruits.
(Look at the problem we have getting 1-3)

IF we get 2 kids this year ('10)(1 trf eoy?)
With 8 scholarships for '11, I would hope for 4-5 frosh, 2 JC,
 & pocket 1 or 2 for 2011 when we only have 1(QR).

But thats a discussion for 12-15 months from now.

Yes, you stole my thunder a bit. I have information to report this week on a few JUCO kids. I like that you are thinking ahead and trying to be informed that's what we're all about here.

There is no doubt about it we will recruit some JUCO kids. 100% no doubt about it.

Your right. I was reading 2 different threads. This one and another that was talking about our need to sign a big man for next year.
