I think its pretty impressive that 13 of 16 teams in the Big East are either playing in the ncaa or nit, it shows how good the conference is.

I don't really see much of a difference between Pecora Greenburg or Norm. Lets not make a change for change sake. Let the guys get experience v Memphis at Memphis, some good names in the tournamount.

Why root against these guys continuing to play in March? Good expereince and jumping off point for next season.

I say Go Get 'em guys.
It's too late to gain experience.  Come on, our nucleus of players is ten upperclassmen, they have gained all the experience they need and now they have to win.  Enough of this experience crap, if a team with 9 juniors needs experience, then what they really need is a coach.
Yeah, it's one thing to talk about the long-term benefits of NIT experience when dealing w/ freshmen or even sophomores, but another when you have the roster makeup of this program.

Zagoria is reporting that Hardy is out for the year.
Memphis is a worse defensive team than us, but they're a pretty good offensive squad. They'll probably be a slight favorite.

Nit experience for juniors?  Bullshit.  The big east tourney provides moroe experience and better quality.

NIT means NOTHING for a group of upperclassmen!  When sealy was a frosh, sure that was a great learning experience. Very valuable.  Its two years too late.

How much more of this do we need to watch?
They're old already. If they were going to get better,
they would have by now.

It's too late. Roberts has had chance after chance.

I'm honestly not even going to bother watching this.
No good can come of this.

Who would you have replaced Fairfield or Iona with?

Here's the bracket:

IONA has 21 wins. They spanked William and Mary by 16 who is in the NIT. IONA beat Providence who beat St Johns. IONA beat Rider twice who beat than ranked 18th Miss St. ;)  Iona also took Baylor to OT

The NIT is meaningless.  No one should have any qualms hoping for a loss now.

I'm chock full of qualms.

The selection show was very good.  They had the Memphis coach on the phone. To paraphrase:

'Looks forward to playing his good friend Norm Roberts and a very good St. Johns team.'

The shows host said 'St. Johns could pull the upset.  Memphis likes to run and St. Johns isn't afraid to get up and down.  They play good defense' and my favoite part 'they blew Uconn off the court in the BE tournament'.  Also said 'they could be playing for the coach's job'

I'll be looking forward to a big espn2 matchup on Wed. night.

They need to hire you to handle PR.  ;)
Clearly, that young AD needs some help.

Fairfield made the CIT.

No kidding! IONA beat William and Mary in a BRACKETBUSTER game but the Gaels bracket gets busted?  Also the Gaels spanked Boston University and they get an iinvite to a road game in CBI?

Maybe they were afraid your coach would have to drive the bus, and they didn't want him behind the wheel.
