Since many schools start to look for commencement speakers a year in advance, perhaps St. John's would want to entertain the thought of considering having award winning actress and New York native Maria Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Wrestler, etc) speak next year. I believe her father is a St. John's Law grad.
