A friend asked me today if I knew the rationale behind why you have to be a member of this board to read it.

I knew that you had to be member to read the forums but I don't remember ever hearing the reasons behind that.

Can someone please exaplain..?

First of all welcome back. You've been more MIA than Lebron in the 4th quarter.

This was changed as a measurement to prevent spam. The board was under attack for some time and this was the measurement that was taken so I wouldn't be deleting new users registering.

I'm going to make a help board to avoid these type of questions being posted in the general area.
