Wingate story on MM in Rivals.  Good video also indicated Whitehead did not make it last night:

Sitting behind the Red Storm bench, most notably, were top recruits Jermaine Lawrence (who was in an arm brace) and 6'9" sophomore Jessie Govan in addition to others. It was rumored that junior shooting guard Isaiah Whitehead might make an appearance but that would not be the case.

The picture of Felix dunking is incredible.  I'm excited to see his progression over the next few years.

Dom was a top recruit and I see him emerging as a multi-faceted pro prospect in the coming years.  He has great "tude" and athleticism and unlike T. Baily doesn't need the ball to DOMinate. I think Lavin knows what he's got with him and will encourage him to freewheel on both ends of the court.

I'm a huge fan of Dom, but I can't even begin to understand why coach was hinting at him running the point, and definitely disagree that he's on a path towards being a pro-prospect.    He does seem to have a great attitude, and is extremely athletic, you're right,  but those attributes don't make you a pro-prospect from his position.   Ball handling and shooting do.    Dom didn't show any ability to create offense last year, his game was pretty much: defend well, and score on a breakaway or a defensive breakdown.   I mean this as constructive criticism only, not to rag on the guy, but he needs to do more than that this year.

There's potential sure, but I don't see the signs that say he's about to break out.   It's more of a hope on our part I think.

If Dom's dream is the NBA at 6-5? it has got to be in the backcourt. Long, long ago in his senior year Tony Jackson play in the backcourt in a couple of games. Granted the games had been long decided. Only mention this because in not exactly new to tell a player  he'll get a opportunity for some time in the backcourt.Particularly when they are in the 6-5 6-4 range.

Honestly, I think his defense alone could land him a spot in the league. There are plenty of defensive specialists in the NBA. Obviously he's still developing, but if he can develop even a just a decent spot up jumper, I think he'll definitely get a shot at the NBA.

If Lavs hopefully stays in great health, he can continue to build up the program to where SJ's is an almost perennial top 5 seed or better in the tourney.  The goal is to be a 3 seed or better many years to enhance the chances of breaking through to the FF.

The story of Jermaine Maybank is all but forgotten?
