Hi everyone. I am a mod over on hogville.net in the Basketball Recruiting and Jump Ball forums. I love Mike Anderson and am very excited for you all at St. John's. Go Red Storm! I haven't found much information on who CMA might be targeting to join him at St. John's, so I thought this may help. This is a list I compiled of prospects CMA and staff were recruiting to fill spring openings. TJ Cleveland was recruiting a lot of these guys so I would expect he could recruit them to St. John's as well. One prospect I would keep an eye on if I were you would be Clarence Nadolny. He plays ball in Pennsylvania, so with St. John's being closer I could only guess he may be more interested. Anyways, I'm excited to keep up with CMA's recruiting now that he's in the big apple and playing in MSG! Should be good!
PS this list has not been updated since CMA's firing, so a few of these prospects have committed elsewhere by now.

Thanks much. Man, I didn't know any Hog hoops fans before MA coming on board, but let me say that most of ya'll have been great posting here and it seems that MA was beloved in Arkansas despite them electing to move on.

My exact thoughts, I for one have really appreciated all of the posts and insights.

Ditto--we are going to have to root for Arkansas Football from now on!

We could use another Stith

Assuming that Hsu takes the job I looked at what was going on at WKU.
Saw this kid was committed...maybe he has a change of heart if Hsu comes over?
Also happens to be from Little Rock, Arkansas? 6'10'' could use his size.

And this kid as well is transferring from Western Kentucky could very well follow coach Hsu wherever he goes. Played a lot of minutes last season as a freshman, former top 100 prospect, from NY state, had 7 assists against Coach Anderson last year in a win (!)
I'm sure he'll be looking into our school to sit 1 and play 3. 6'8 Point Guard? Sign me up

2 assists, .5 block and .5 steals in 15 minutes isn’t bad production. Interesting player.

You're welcome guys! CMA is a class act and I have known him and his family for a long time. His recruiting was really improving the last 3 years at Arkansas, so I dont think you will have too many issues. As many have said, he won't get dirty, and he will get tough and gritty kids who love to play defense. I am excited to see how recruiting goes for him now that he's in a relative recruiting mecca. Hopefully it goes well, though it seems you guys are in quite a hole with all the departures.
One thing is that CMA has an excellent record with JUCOs. I wish he recruited more of them at AR actually. So if he's after a JUCO prospect you can pretty much give him the green light.
That said, Stith was going to visit us the weekend after CMA was fired and was likely to commit. Pipkins was one of TJ's favorites, and Hamlet had been all but adopted by the team on social media. I admit I am not checking to see if they have committed elsewhere before posting, but those may be your most likely JUCOs. We were all pretty excited about Hamlet. He reminded us of Jaylen Barford, a former JUCO who was All-SEC.
