I'm definitely on the fire Lavin bandwagon now.

Probably the worst game I've watched.

You've had it lucky. Not even worst of lavin era. But pretty damn bad.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Wow felix balamou scored....6 points!?!? About the only statement that isn't entirely negative about that game. if Lavin says anything positive after the game he deserves a beheading.

Jordan 6-21 from the field. Probably why Harrison couldn't get to the bench fast enough

Did that actually happen?  I had changed the channel.

Sheed shot 6-21 from the field. But then again he seems to be the only option when you want to go 1 on 4 against a zone defense

Can't wait for the 'We are still headed in the right direction/We are ready to hit our stride' quotes from Lavin tonight

Sadly, this isn't even close to rock bottom...As this team continues to fall your going to have a bunch of pissed off seniors, a Sophmore who will continue to cause drama, a Junior who will probably stop caring all tougher, and a coach who will look for a CYA exit strategy to give him options....We haven't even seen rock bottom yet, the team is Homer Simpson in middle of falling down Springfield Gorge.

Except Amar played awful all night.
Balamou and Amar will be our top options next year. Can't wait!

I've stayed away from these boards while the team has been blowing its season because it has really pissed me off that this group of seniors, who started out with so much promise in their freshmen year, will likely end up as the biggest collective disappointment we've seen here in a long time.  They deserved better than this.  Whether Lavin is totally to blame or not, I don't care. I just want him gone so we can start over. Oh yeah, this game sucked.

Tremendous post... and likely spot on

Has anyone seen any post game quotes from Lavin?
I'm curious to see if he starts to show some frustration or remains upbeat and deflects any criticism.

He usually posts on Twitter his main comments after each game

In addition to the four straight years w/o a tourney appearance the awful recruiting last year, all the ineligibility issues-I think the worst indictment might be the following:
That he felt he had to suspend his best player and tried to recruit over the top of him.
Had a player openly refuse to renter at least one game and maybe two depending on whatever the heck went on with Jordan against Creighton
The Jordan SHENAGIANS-always wanted to use shenanigans in a post
Throw in the often chippy play and it looks like he has lost control of team.

@MikeVacc: This is as horrific a performance as St. John's has had in quite a while.  Disgraceful.   Lavin has to answer for this.  #sjubb
