Manute was actually John Mullin's close friend and college teammate.

Paschal Chukwu is a 7’0 center for CBC who is going to be at Fairfield Prep (CT) this year. A class of 2014 prospect from Nigeria, Chukwu came over to the US only about a year and a half ago. Already a quality player, Chukwu’s upside is great when you take into account the fact that he said he has only been playing basketball for two-plus years. Chukwu obviously has great height, but he also runs the floor well, has nice hands, and can throw down with authority. If he bulks up his thin frame, watch out!

Paschal Chukwu surprisingly claims no scholarship offers at this point. The rising junior big man did note that his father handles his recruitment, so there is a chance that maybe he does have some offers he does not know about. Chukwu was also unsure of which schools in general were expressing interest in him.

Was Chuwku at Trinity last year? Now Prep. The only two private schools in FairfieldCountyIAC that can "recruit". Seems strange that he is up at Prep now as Trinity has been the go to school for hoops for a while. Maybe he "moved" to Bridgeport.

This is from the a State quarter final game.  Fairfield is the number one seed in the tournament.
