Good for Tristan however what does this have to do with St. John's?

On Redmen.com, he is one of the twelve players listed as "SJU Uncommitted."

No scouting services had us on his radar perhaps one of the guys over at redmen can fill me in.

Do you really feel Gilchrist, one of the most talented freshmen in the country, would take a chance with his career and opt for Norm Roberts when there are more proven coachs that would happily take his services?

he's only a freshman.   by the time he's a senior norm may (and hopefully) not be here.  but if he gets involved with him, maybe if he likes everything about the school, conference, MSG, then we'll have a small shot. but if norm is fired and we get a more proven coach who goes after gilchrist (he'd be familar with stj already) then maybe there's a shot.  won't hurt to get on him early though.

if norm is here when he's a senior he def won't come here though.

I think we're 2 studs away from having a pretty legit team

You could be right...   but they aren't coming here to play for Norm Roberts...

Couldn't the same be said of any program in America?

i would concede to 1 5-star recruit as turning this team around based on the solid 'foundation' of our team.
