I saw him a couple of times at the Peach Jam.  Seemed like he was trying to carry his team, which resulted in some inconsistent play the couple times I watched.

Nevertheless, you could clearly see that he's quite a talent.

Thomas was playing with the 16u Gauchos and for the most part they seemed a bit weak, Moose.  And, yes both Gauchos' teams were lacking (especially, the 17u team) this summer.  It was something out of the norm.

Even when QEA placed a tremendous defender — 6′4″ Charles McKinney– on the solidly built 6-footer from Queens, he still battled in a way that made you recognize his skill set is off the charts. Thomas finished with 15 points and around 15 dimes (not buying the 19 in the book but I seriously counted 13 so I’ll give him +2 for the bathroom break I took).

Thomas, at one point, threw his body into a much taller defender and moved him to the point where he got an open look and converted the and 1. It was a play only a savvy and talented guard makes. He also got thrown to the floor as he attacked the rim late. He hit with a lot of force and came out of the game. About a minute later he was back in, attacking against the multiple double-teams and traps the opposition threw at him. He also went free throw line to free throw line, saw 6′10″ Juvonte Reddic and 6′9″ Quincy Miller waiting under the hoop, and pulled up and hit the 15-foot mid-range jumper from the free throw line. Smart.
