Word is he loves SJU and Zach Braziller tweeted as much.

Rumor has it his visit to SJU was at the Skills Camp last month.

BTW-Jungle's Dan Martin has a front page story up basically saying it is still early but SJU clearly is McCullough's dream school.

Chris McCullough, a 6’8”, 200 lb forward from Salisbury School (CT), called St. John’s his “dream school” and raved about the coaching staff and city of New York.

Skills Camp was first time but he's visited a couple times since as well.

Kid is really long and athletic from what I've told.  Only a young'n but a legit 6'8" already.  Sounds like we have the inside track.  Great that this kid is wearing SJU t-shirts already.

He was an absolute beast today. The highlights I caught on film are incredible. He might be the best big in 2014

'14 F Chris McCullough was voted Most Outstanding Prospect of #HGElite camp. McCullough tells NBE St. John's is his fav school. He is close to Dwight Hardy.

Knowing Dwight can only help our chances.

Highlights from last year.  You can see the kid has phenomenal tools for only a young kid.  He's going to be fantastic and apparently is getting better fast.

While it is early, his interest is great news.

Remember when recruits (over the past pre- Coach Lavin years) would use "dream school" when describing their interest in St. John's.  It was the kiss of death for them coming to us.  Times have changed!

Times certainly have changed.  We used to watch the Duke's and UNC's and use the term "the rich get richer". That term seems to be referring to us lately.  This kids has sju as his "dream school". Any other coach and I'd be worried.  With Lavin having that type of advantage with this kid, I don't see him relinquishing it...

It does seem like times have certainly changed, Gumby.

I also do not see Lavin relinquishing the "dream school" advantage, MCN.  IMO, we have one of the top 3 recruiters in the nation in Lavin and it feels good to have a Great White shark on your side.

Amazing skill set especially for someone in the class of 2014. I look forward to seeing how he works on his game in the upcoming years. I think he needs to finish a little stronger around the rim but as he matures i'm sure he will. Looks like a beast
