When sites go bad it's usually because there's too much "noise" and color on the site.  It truly is heard on the eyes, especially for older people and probably those with perceptual issues for clutter.  Lots of clutter...

I have cut my time one yahoo sports by about 75%. I wonder how their traffic is doing since the change.

It's hard to use, and if you think that's bad wait until you see their new email format. Some companies just don't get it.

Hate it- I thought it was just me.

I used it at lot for the local pro sports teams- Knicks, Mets, Football.
The stats pages were easy to load & view- no more.

Going to look for another. ESPN? other ?

I use cbssports primarily now and just look at yahoo for mma news at work (sherdog at home).
