We just offered this kid. Goes to Stepinac with Jordan Tucker I believe. Anyone know anything else about this kid?

White Plains kid...Theo should know something.
-
I saw him play at Baruch...he picked up two quick fouls and mostly managed to stay on the floor and play well......decent upper body for a soph. I thought he had great upside but I'm terrible at projecting high school players (particularly young ones.) Decent if inconsistent shot......great defense and rebounding. Probably not a super high major......maybe good four year Big East player.
-
Isn't he 2018 Class?
-
Yes I believe so.
-
Yes he is 2018 he is a Sophomore right now...From being from the Area who covers him...saw he has had some big games including a 20pt first quarter a couple games back.....there team has played a tough schedule so far and there record is poor...Not sure they have much beside Tucker and him...they are 6-10 (would of hoped to have won some more games with them two)... Hoping to get out to check him and Tucker out to see when they play at Iona Prep
-
Hard for him to get shots.....Tucker is obviously the first option.....I heard one game Tucker had 35 shots.

He is actually from Mt Vernon and we were smart to get in on him early.

Hyatt, who plays with Class of 2017 St. John's target Jordan Tucker at Stepinac and runs with the NY Lightning on the Nike EYBL circuit, now holds offers from St. John's, Yale, South Florida, St. Louis, UMass, La Salle, Iona and Manhattan.
Stanford and Xavier also reached out to express interest.
"They're all working hard," Hyatt said.

Prime Johnny target is having nice summer;
"NEW YORK LIGHTNING, 2018: Hyatt went bonkers on Friday evening as he hit on six made 3s, three coming in a string of possessions, each time his jumper falling from further and further out. Sporting unreal length with a 7-foot wingspan, the 6-foot-4 wing has ideal physical tangibles for the highest level of play. While he did fall in love with the outside jumper and settled at times, Hyatt can put it on the floor on the hard righty drive to the cup, a move that he can convert on with solid touch and toughness at the lid. He has the ability to be a defender at both wing spots out top and with some fire under his belly, Hyatt did nothing to hurt his resume, boosting his stock with a solid few days under the Arch."

read this from @MSGVarsityKDJ
Aundre Hyatt has left Stepinac and will enroll at the Miller School in Virginia. The 6-foot-6 forward will reclassify to the Class of 2019.
Guess a mod at his convenience can move him to 19 please.

Perhaps it will help with the recruitment of Sid Wilson.

Joining Naz Reid down at LSU. We've been out of the running for a long time now but this is a brutal blow for Hall and especially Steve Piekeill at Rutgers, who appeared to be the leader. Will Wade doing a good job in the Northeast right off the bat. Now a 2018 commit moderators.
