I don't understand the rankings...this kid is a surefire first round pick at some point.  I haven't seen all of the top 25 play, but basing it off of past year's where I've seen almost all of the top 25 play...I'd say Sampson is clearly a top 25 player this year with the extra year of working on his game and body and playing at the absolute highest level of prep basketball in the country.

His teammates TJ Warren & Mitch McGarry are ranked 29 & 22 respectively. IMO he's better then both I think he fits around the 15-20 range

Who cares about rankings! The kid's a stud.

Let's hope that Ricardo Gathers corrects the mistake he made by committing to Baylor and changes his commit to St. john's.

Forget Ricardo Gathers...  Here's to Jakarr dunking all over Ricardo Gathers.  Jakarr's heart was always with SJU.  Now he's back and it will be worth it for both he and SJU.  HUGE commit for Lavin and SJU.  Keep em coming Lavs...  Hammer to Rock!

I especially like the timing -- before Harkless declares. In his mind he may have already done so, but maybe this prompts him to rethink.

Welcome back Jakarr!!!  Lavin is a force of nature.  Getting Morris and Obekpa would be ridiculous, especially when you think about where we stood a month ago on the recruiting trail.   Can't wait until next season!
