Calm Before the Storm is up....Garrett had to take the day off for school so Mason Nettleton filled in with the report.

liu was picked by virtually every publication to finish last in the nec...i predict a clean sweep of the four nec teams we played.

how's that for going out on a limb?

Well Sacred Heart was picked first so what does that tell you about preseason publications? I hope you are 110% right though....25 posts I'm ready to play with someone's karma now. Anyone see "Along Came Polly" 50! "Who yells 50 when they orgasm?"

Very unusual LIU stat:

Their top 2 scorers come off the bench.

Appears like they play a 3 or 4 guard offense
Their guards rebound well- 4 players avg 5+ rebs/game

That's funny... i have a really GOOD feeling about this game. As long as the refs aren't on the take & LIU doesn't shoot 80% from beyond the arc. We should be alright... especially with Mase coming back.. ;D .. peace!

i wouldnt underestimate them considering tj will be out and this will be mase's first game back

if burrel gets into foul trouble this could be a bad game to see

Considering our history, nothing should ever seem to be an "easy game".  Play hard (like in the second half of the FDU game) and we ought to be fine.

"That's why they play the game" as they say.

only reason i have a bad feeling, is cause history has shown us, at least during norm's era is that we have at least one major disappointment early in the season.  we've played so well up to this point, it almost seems like we're due for bad night....

we shall see....

we shouldnt have a let down especially since its Mase's first game...we should take care of business...I'm more worried about heading on the road to Miami...we haven't done well on the road and it seems we never play well in Florida

from what i am hearing the chances are low on tj playing

his knee could use the rest

Give him the rest now.  We'll need his minutes against Miami.  We *should* get by without him tomorrow.

Geno-Wright-Kennedy-Mase-Burrell to start -- I hope!

we don't need tomas tomorrow at all. They are so small this team DJ could play center. If we don't wax this team by 20+ i'll be upset
