Jalen Lecque, 2019 CG, Southern Stampede: Lecque burst onto the scene this weekend and he did so loudly. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is wired to score the basketball and made it known that he is one of the best pure scorers on the Nike circuit. Lecque is a savvy shot-maker that can score it in a variety of ways. He also has a knack for getting the free-throw line, as he made 27 trips to the charity-stripe in four games. After averaging over 20 points in Hampton, Lecque has popped onto high-major programs’ radars and he has already reeled in a couple of scholarship offers.

Per Rivals....

Why he's trending up: Lecque is a tremendous athlete, is almost impossible to keep out of the lane and can fill it up from deep. He's more of a natural scorer than a setup guy, but his passing instincts are good and it doesn't make sense for him to play without the ball in his hands.

Recruitment: Syracuse, Oklahoma State, USC, Xavier, Miami, UConn, Illinois, Auburn, St. John's, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Georgia Tech are just a few of his offers.

We're prioritizing Gaffney over Lecque of late as 2019PG, no traction here?

Highlights from Top100 camp listed below. Between Scottie, Whitney, Gaffney and Lecque you really can't go wrong for 19' guards, but this kid should be a top priority for the staff throughout the Summer. Mini Westbrook, potential is through the roof, wish he never left the BX bc I'd love to see him matchup against Cole Anthony this Winter:
