Haren was traded to D-backs for 2 very good prospects and the rest being OK. they did not give up justin upton who will be a great player.
Edmonds, although old and a bit past his prime, is still a effective player. he was basically traded for a bag of penuts.
looks like the mets are lookin at no playoffs two years in a row. omar wake up.
