Post by: Amaseinyourface2 on February 10, 2016, 11:31:04 PM: Just watched the whole series in 3 weeks! Absolutely loved it. Each season had it's own dynamic but I will say that the first was definitely the best. What a cast! Just starting Oz this week.

McNulty was great, played so many different roles.

I'd go with Lieutenant Cedric Daniels. Man could that guy stare the devil in the eye and deliver a speech.

Make sure to watch again in about a year. I assure you you'll notice another 50 things in a second viewing, finding a few more allegories along the way.

My two favorite allegories - Omar as a "flawed" Robin Hood & McNulty/Brodie chess discussion in the park (great tie in to Bodie's character progression, similarities between McNulty/Bodie)

Bodie was such a good character! He had a cameo in the first episode of The Night Of, HBO's latest mini series.
