Shepard looks like he could be a special player for us, possessing perhaps more upside than any of the other bigs that we are currently coveting.  Anyone know if he's academically on track?

And Shephard said he's 6'9", not 6'6" or 6'7" like he's commonly listed. I see more 6'9" than the others in the videos.

I don't care what he says. He's not 6'9 he's 6'7 not an inch taller. He's not a super athlete vertically but he moves so well laterally and is long which is what makes him such a good defender. Really doesn't bring much around the perimeter offensively in terms of shooting but sees the floor well. For comparison sake he's like more grounded Amir Garrett.

He has a good, floor game.  Somewhat of a jack of all trades-type.
