Bingo... plus we play in the TOUGHEST league in the country & have games with Duke, Miami, Virginia Tech & most likely boston college out of conference. Not to mention, just about EVERY team in the BE plays it's fair share of "cupcakes" as well. I see NO problem whatsoever playing some of these "lightweights" at CA.. 8) .. peace!

i doubt every game that's not on espn or cbs is getting on sny or msg.  i don't believe the cornell game is televised..but game two of that tournament will be.  that's not reflected in the schedule.

Niagara is suspended for the year but they plan on resuming the series next year.

Last year, weren't the OOC Carnesecca Arena games only available online?  I listened to them on radio instead.

Mid Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) has an agreement of some sorts with ESPN for college basketball.  They showed all but 2 of the St. John's games that didn't make it on ESPN or ESPN2 last year...so they may be able to show quite a few St. John's games on SNY.  Hopefully SNY has a similar agreement to what MASN has...

I think out of the first five games PC is the most winnable. I also think if we win at PC there might be some momentum going to play ND at MSG. I think the OOC schedule this year really has a big impact on how we do in the Big East. We play a lot tougher schedule in terms of the preseason NIT. I think a lot that needs to change is attitude this year. We need to go into games knowing we can win. Even if its false confidence we need to come out with some swagger instead of last year we didn't.

If we had a lead last year it was what can we do not to blow the lead instead of having the attitude this is our game lets do this.

We need to see a more cohesive unit, more awareness of each other out on the court, hopefully this chemistry has built from last year. Also I think it all starts on the defensive end. If we can force turnovers we can manufacture points on the fast break.

We have some challenges ahead of us but the thing we have to avoid the most are these embarassing blowouts. I understand losing games but the blowsouts have to stop. This goes hand in hand with trying to change the perception of the program. Lose but be competive.

But some of the games were not on ESPN's family either (the early patsies).

Remember the online option as well.  Last year I watched a bit during the free CSTV feeds of early games.  The only games that were not viewable at all for NYers were the Rainbow Classic games (I actually watched the Ohio U loss from at my condo on Waikoloa but went home before the other games).

For now you can check out last year's rm.com schedule to get a reminder of what the TV schedule might look like.

FYI Last year's NIT preseason was not shown on Full Court.

I have Direct TV (and am far from NYC) - all the Big East games were available on ESPN.  Maybe not Rutgers?  I thought I was traveling then, but now that I think about it, that dog of a game was not available.

I thought the CSTV online feeds were not free for video?  Or perhaps they only worked on PCs (I have a Mac).

My point was that I didn't need to get ESPN full court...The Mid Atlantic Sports Network showed all but 2 of the ESPN Full Court games and it is a free channel that I get with basic cable.  I'm thinking SNY may get the same kind of deal.

As for the CSTV...it is cheap but it didn't work very well for me and I have a PC.

Rutgers was on ESPN360 and I couldn't get it because Comcast doesn't offer it in my area.
