There is no way that this could be a good decision. Cronin is no better than Norm Roberts.

He should made the sweet 16 with that team, and he didn't even make the dance.

Horrible choice by Sanders. What was he thinking?

1. Cronin is a little better than Norm Roberts.  I think his team was a bad idea, though. He shouldn't have taken on Lance when he already had a questionably accurate, pass-as-last-option volume shooter in the overrated Deonta Vaughn.

2. And maybe Sanders thinks the NEXT coach will be awesome.  I'd hold off on signing that LOI until spring, if I were him. I think Cronin's seat is hot.

Peter, I respectfully disagree. As inept as Norm was at every aspect of the game, Cronin might actually be worse.

Cincinnati was a top 25 program every year before he took over. He's getting some talented recruits, but they don't play anything close to a team game.

I can't imagine they'll be an improved team after losing two key starters. Overall, they play like a bunch of punks, like the Grown teams of the 80s.

Poison - you may be right. He might just have good players. There was some talk about how Oscar Robertson apparently yells through games and disrespects Mick Cronin; Cronin's players are me-firsters; and they seem  out of control.  And he used the "young" excuse a lot.  I hope he doesn't end every 3rd sentence with "that sort of thing" as opposed to something insightful or specific.

Is Sanders the best player in NYC now? If not, I think he will be soon enough

What about Harkless? He's ranked in the top 50. Sanders is what, 110?

Is sanders the best player in the universe now? If not, I think he will be soon enough

*disclaimer* this does not include any of the Monstars players, as they have been found ineligible to play by the NCAA for using performance enhancing supplements

Sanders might be called that since Harkless is not playing in NY this year.

Sanders should be ranked way higher, IMO.  I think he'll have a great college career.  I felt Providence would have been the best fit for him.

Looked awfully out of shape tonight. I was really disappointed.

Everyone praised him as a good kid and hard worker but there was no way around noticing he was obviously heavier, slower, and out of breathe often.
