Desktop, mobile, tablet? Breakdown of mixture?
Might be making some changes to site soon. We're due for some upgrades.

mostly on my laptop at work. but when i'm out, definitely on mobile. i have "unread posts" saved as a bookmark for quick access.

desktop , or if on phone i use desktop view. I find the page turning and layout of the mobile clumsy. That being said , its my first stop of SJU news over that other troll infested site. We only have 1 resident friendly troll..Baldi ::)

I've similar feedback about mobile version. I'm thinking about going to a responsive forum but undecided if it is necessary expense.

Whatever you do as Artesticles mentioned leave the option for someone to revert to the non optimized site. I know that you know my feeling there and I always revert back to the regular version.
And for the record 50/50 laptop/iPad. Never mobile.

I'm hoping to have an overhaul of the boards done by the time of conference play. Trying to lock in a new developer which has taken longer than expected.
A few things I'm looking to add
1. Responsive design. This means the forum will adapt to whatever you're on (Computer, tablet, mobile) and optimize width and font size for that device.
2. Mentions- Adapting a twitter style to respond to other posters. Ex. @MarcoBaldi That is nonsense! This would prompt a notification to Marco Baldi to let him know someone responded to his post.
3. Notifications- As mentioned in previous mentions you'd receive notifications much like Facebook letting you know activity based around your posts. You'd be able to opt to receive an email or simply a notification within the forum that you can click to.
4. Likes/Dislikes- Kind of like the old Karma we used to have for the forum but this would be more towards the message than the poster. So if you agree you'd hit like and after X amount of dislikes the post would go red letting everyone know your post was ridiculous.
5. Topics- You'd be able to select a button when making a new topic to preview what your post is about. Ex. RUMOR- Lavin going back to using hair gel or PREDICTIONS- At Georgetown
6. Enhanced Quick Reply- The ability to add emojis, change font size, weight, color within quick reply

Started to implement some things tonight.
You can tag people in posts Example: @Tha Kid (http://johnnyjungle.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2) - You can see your mentions by hovering over 'profile' at the top of page.
There is a new like/dislike button for every post. If a post receives 20 dislikes...poof it disappears. (I may toggle with this number)
Social Groups (You can view this in the header) - I'm still messing around with this but you can create/join different groups. "Lavin Lovers" or "D-Lo's Dudes" or "New Coach Search Committee"
New quick reply with tool bar (Let me know if you guys like this or is it too busy?)
Similar topics - With new topic categories coming soon this will help link opponent threads and recruiting a lot better
