I feel stupid that I have to stick up for this team and coach. I am disappointed also. Did they show up for the Xavier game? NO! Were they playing very good basketball before that YES!

You're right, they were playing well.  That game should've had a good crowd.
I still had high hopes entering that game.

Exactly. We had no 6th man in our own house. Yet we bitch and moan when Syracuse and Uconn fans show up and show us how it's done at a real school with a real program.

We have this terrible fan support not because the team doesn't win, but because our students have perpetuated a culture of losing. We play in a legendary arena, and if the Cubs can fill theirs, we should be able to do the same.

The used to have an incentive program for students to get them to attend games. As pathetic as that is, I really wish the incentive could include more than just a soda or popcorn. Like perhaps priority registration for classes, or priority dorm rooms. Something to inspire these sad excuses for college students.

It will probably never happen but it's far more legal than my idea of tasering students for walking in the opposite direction of Alumni Hall close to game time.

Rematch vs Penn State, or Rutgers?

This may not be popular but I think UConn Cuse and Duke should be on schedule every year
Louisville Pitt and Notre Dame perhaps every other year in hiome and home
Don't give a crap about Rutgers or South Florida  or Miami from old big east
I would love Gonzaga in a home and home

Also just want to schedule live 5 cupcakes for the preseason schedule and do a major pre season tourney every year

I want us to play schools like Florida Michigan (or Mich St) Kansas Kentucky UCLA Texas and UNC from time to time

If we want to recruit nationally we need to play national teams even if they are losses (in a worst case they at least help RPI and SOS)

Big10 Network and FS1 should split the rights, which is a tremendous advancement in the battle with ESPN/ACC. I really like the idea of our Midwest teams having nice draws with them throughout the region. The joint agreement should be seamless with the Big10 moving their front offices into Manhattan. The ACC/SEC match ups have no juice, this is a very nice marriage for the BE. Power move.

Bit ten still continuing series with ACC, but I love this move.

we need to be competitive and split to show that were legit. Great move by the BE. Is this just for BB?

Only 8 games so each year 2 BE and 6 B10 teams will sit out. Should be 10 games so less teams miss out but I guess TV rules and only have room for 4 nights of doubleheaders.

So Brandon Sampson, Isaiah Briscoe, Cheick Diallo, you want to play Michigan at MSG?  How about Duke at Cameron?  How about Maui in November?

Come on down…

Great to have Big Ten vs Big East series.  Gives us more legitimacy.  I just wish we had a more established front-court here because we might be in for a difficult season.  Really need to land this kid Martin and bolster our forward spots.  That said, I'd love to see SJU vs Michigan.  Would be a great draw too.

The schedule needs to be a selling point for recruiting.

Ironically on the day the Big 10/BE announce the matchups starting next year the Big 10 announces they will be bringing the Big 10 Tourney to BE country, but not NY.  DC!!!
