In and out is soooooo good

Culvers. They are all over the mid-west.

That is definitely not a cow burger.

in and out....carl's jr are top shelf but not really better than mcdonalds or burger king.
zagat quality...double cheeseburger from the mcdonald's dollar menu.  buy two and lose the bread for one.  that's four pieces of meat with cheese and pickle for two bucks.
five guys if grossly overrated.
i worked at poor richard's...don't remember the hamburgers.  i don't think we had them in '69-70.
all american is a sentimental favorite.  i graduated massapequa high...that was our hangout...except it was called something else...i can't remember before it was all american.  i took my daughter there when she was going to hofstra.  good times.

Actually surprised there isn't a general "food & restaurant" thread.  With jungle denizens spread all over the country, there's a lot of info out there on places worth checking out in all parts of the country.    For instance, where DO you go for a meal if you're taking in an away game for new conference foes Creighton, or Butler, or Xavier?

After a Red Robin burger, I essentially fall asleep.

The salt content is so high on those, really done downhill lately.

Heart attack Grill in Vegas. Haven't tried it, but the burgers look how they advertise them to be, "double bypass burger". Pretty funny concept though.

I wasnt a fan but maybe it depends on the burger. I had their kind of flagship burger. The burger with mushrooms sounded real good though.

But basically there was just too much stuff going on in that burger with whatever sauce they put on that it just turned me off. And as chronic bucks said it did kind of put me to sleep.

I actually like 5 guys burger.

Next up for me I will try smashburger in the next week or 2

Nobody mentioned Shake Shack?  Heard they are blue chip...

Not that impressed. I dropped $20 there recently and was still hungry. It's a decent burger but I will take 5 guys over it.

Also I love jg melon and corner bistro for an inexpensive burger option in nyc.

Now the next question is which fries do you like the best at the burger places. Shake Shack's fries suck in my opinion. Red Robins werent bad and 5 guys arent bad.
