He's actually from South Carolina (a small town called Piedmont.... Near Greenville, SC). I heard about McGowens a year or so ago. I know Clemson was on hard on his trails at one point.

Tarik went to Oak Hill not Hargrave.

Was thinking the same. But then I thought Owens. Did he play a year there?

Trey McGowens is going to take an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech this weekend, he tells 247Sports. He also just picked up an offer from Minnesota.
