AJ Storr just committed

6’5 shooting guard from Florida. Ranked #49 in ESPN’s 2022 class. Byb Best out some good programs to get him.

It’s as if playing well has helped with recruiting. Imagine that.

Real nice get, some big schools were involved with him including Kansas.

Welcome aboard Mr. Storr!

Storr joins Florida point guard Kolby King in Anderson’s 2022 recruiting class. St. John’s still has one scholarship open for next year and may still fill it, sources said.

This is the kind of recruit that Mullin would not land after two seasons at St.John’s.

This is clear progress from a professional

I did not. Mullin had not even been the coach for a full season before Ponds gave us the verbal. Was it a good move for him to come here? I don’t think so. He should have gone to Providence or SU.

Kids came early for Mullin. It stopped once they saw what kind of program he would run.

So much for those who didn't think Anderson would ever get the higher rated guys to come here. Well consider this higher rated territory. This is what happens when you start winning.

Love both backcourt pickups. Big transition guard and a big-time lockdown defender.

Kids can see the program they’re joining.

Huge get. Adding 1-2 kids like this a year is all I ask as a fan.

Don't you also ask more than 7 hrs 25 rbi's and a .201 avg from Michael Conforto this late in the season? Seem to remember you touting him as a 40 homer a year guy.  ::) ;)

When did we start winning?  Did I miss a season in my coronavirus haze?  An unaccepted Nit bid is nothing to write home about.

Neither is 6 straight seasons without a winning record in conference until last year. But keep dwelling on the fantasy.

He’s having an awful season. I think he plays well to end the year, though. Rojas puts out some puzzling lineups.

Included in those 6 seasons you write home about were 2 or 3 Ncaa tournament bids.  Which I guess I somehow need to remind you is the ultimate goal for this moribund program.  Who gives a flying f*ck about conference record if you don't dance? ans. nobody but you

Clearly, recruits care about incremental progress like last season's winning record or they wouldn't be signing on.

The salty Carmine returns. I'll chalk it up to the heat because we all know what a sweetheart Carmine really is.

Great pick up. Hopefully we get Jaquan too. I was not a fan of CMA, when he was hired. I posted that here. We’ve had some head shakers of games. However, I believe CMA will be what NR should’ve been. We finally have a respected college basketball coach.

Doc hasn't posted here in a long while.  Somebody has to step down their game.
