Should be able to win this without Lovett.  Fordham is awful on the boards, averaging only 27 per game as compared to 38 per for SJU - and they were particularly bad at rebounding in their 4 losses.  They aren't great from outside either (31.7%).  We should be playing zone and running early and often to generate quick baskets off of missed shots

But they are 2nd in the country in turnovers caused per game and we dont have a true PG for this one

No doubt, which is why we need to get out and run - don't want to see us flat-footed and laboring to get the ball up and get into our offense while they slow the game down and effectively disrupt passing lanes.

Good thing. Don't rush back and re injure. Rather have 100% against Big East schedule

I bet he could beat Mussini in a race even with the boot

None of us know the extent of the injury.  But if he can go, I would play him. Can't afford another embarrassment.

We can't afford to make his injury worse. This game defines nothing at all except bragging rights for a handful of people

That would be great. He needs to stay out of foul trouble and help break the press. This would be the game to play him at the 4.

I don't want Lovett playing hurt, would save him.  PG is no problem.....Sham the man can easily fill the role as he did last game

I don't want Lovett playing hurt either. But we need to build some momentum. 2 cupcakes left.

Fordham fouls the 23rd most in D1. He better attack all night and live at the line. No reason to settle for jumpers tonight
