My favorite "serious" Christmas movie is definitely It's a Wonderful Life.

Home Alone and a Christmas Story are my 2 fav comedies.

Die Hard is the best action one!!!!

Hey Tha  Kid: Thanks for agreeing with me.  I've been trying to convince my kids for years that Die Hard (the first, the original, and the best movie ever made) is a Christmas movie.  I've been trying to start a family tradition of watching it each Xmas, but they refuse to go along.  Christmas Story is #2.

Let's see the movie starts off with him on a plane going to LA to see his wife and kids for CHRISTMAS.  Then he gets in the limo and the limo driver plays one of the greatest Christmas songs of all time CHRISTMAS IN HOLLIS by Run DMC (st. john's baby!).  Then he goes to a huge CHRISTMAS PARTY at his wife's work.

Obviously the point of the movie is not a Christmas movie in the traditional sense, but there is enough Christmas comments, references, decorations, songs, etc. to make it a movie that one can associate with Christmastime.  Do you disagree, HTGS_says_your handle is too long I stopped reading?  8)
