'85 & 2010 similarity

 :) We beat Nova handily (twice) in '85 & they were national champs. This season we destroyed UCONN & they won it all. Nice tibid for this year's team.

I believe we beat Danny Manning  in the Holiday Tournament, the year Kansas won it all.

We beat them three times in 85 by big margins.  Wasn't even close.

Well, besides the games they won by 5 at home and by 2 on the road during the regular season.  But besides those two the other one wasn't even close.

You are right. Thinking of B.East tourney game. Believe we won by about 15.

The 85 team was so talented. Three all americans(Mullin, Jackson and Berry), Two Wooden award winners(Mullin 85 ,Berry 86).Coach or the year and a final four. If they had the 3 point shot then we would have won it all.  Simalarities include high profile coaches, lots of media attention,enjoyable seasons and a high enthusiasm among new yorkers.
