Congrats to D'Angelo!  St. John's all-time single-season record for three pointers...and all-time leading Freshman scorer in St. John's history!!!!!!  What a season.

Congratulations to D'lo for breaking what I thought was unbreakable.

You are a very worthy three-point champion torch bearer.  May you reach even greater heights in the years to come at SJU.

Thank you D'Angelo for breaking this unbelievably embarrassing record held by Avery Patterson. The laziest player I've ever seen in a Johnny uniform.

D'lo's incredible three point shooting this year has been a huge plus for the team this season just as Avery "single game 3-point record holder" Patterson's was for his squad back in the day.

Use revisionist history as you see fit to remember it and spin it as you wish.  But 72 three's is 72 three's any which way you slice it.

Stats lie. Especially for Patterson.

Watch Patterson against Duke in 2007. Tell me he's a good player.

Not an NBA player. Not a chance.

Not this year.  I think he may after next year, only to comeback.  He's a 3 year player, hopefully 4. To say he doesn't have a chance is foolish. He's a freshman that can shoot the lights out and has an "it" factor about him. I'm not saying he will be a lottery pick down the line, but he will play in the league ( not the D or Euro either).

He won't get a look in NBA much like Dwight Hardy didn't. Both are more SG than PG. Undersized scoring combo guards have the hardest time finding their way into the NBA.

I hope everyone tells Harrison the same thing.   The bigger the chip on his shoulder the better for us.  He doesn't seem the type to take someone telling him he can't do something too kindly.
