A friend of a friend covers the ACC.
He passed along this name.
Roberts has apparently repeatedly given him St. John's as one of his final five.
He had committed to Miami, but then they "parted ways."
Roberts lives in Harrisburg, PA.

As per prep stars:

"My final five are Virginia, Michigan, Georgia Tech, St. Johns and Temple," said Roberts. "All have offered. I'm taking a trip soon to St. Johns and will set up the rest afterward."

He's an off guard. We need a point guard who can score. That is what this team has lacked since Darryl Hill could play.
Our big men have to practice. Evans, Coker and Burrell all need to play a lot of ball this summer.

For what it's worth, he was recently named third-team all-state on Pennsylvania's highest playing level.

Like how he can create his own shot and has nice court vison from the limited amount of video looks to be a decent player.  Hopefully Norm can get acouple diamond in the rough late signees ala DJ.

they call it highlights for a reason. Take it with a grain of salt, what he showed was impressive there is potential talent there. Obviously he is going to have lowlights as well but you can get a certain grasp of what he has to offer watching some of the clips.

The next hot recruit on the radar for the Johnnies is 6-5 shooting guard Quincy Roberts from Harrisburg, PA High School. Early on, Roberts announced his intention to play for the Hurricanes. However, sources have revealed that on Thursday and Friday Roberts will be making his official visits to St. John's. Sources say Robert's has narrowed down his list between St. John's and Virginia Tech.

Currently, he is being recruited by other ACC schools, and has standing offers from Virginia Tech and Arizona State and interest from Florida State. Roberts finished his season with 63 points, 41 assists, and 20 steals.
