Good thing RPI means nothing at this point in the season. Hopefully will be much higher at season's end.

Seton Hall might actually be a pretty good team, but we have no way of knowing because the only good team they've played beat the snot out of them. But great job against USF.

With Friday’s win, the Red Storm have no bad losses and only one in total, to the Gaels’ perennial WCC foe Gonzaga, but also have one of the weakest schedules thus far of any Big East team. Out-of-conference tilts against Long Beach State and Duke will help raise that rating, as will regular Big East conference play. But that increased level of competition will necessitate adjustments.

It's amazing to see how little SI knows about the college game year in, year out. If we don't have a hard enough schedule, how are we ranked?
We made the finals of the NIT, which actually counts for quite a bit, and we have a stronger win in the Carrior Dome than any other BE team has this year on the road or at home. No contest.
Right, my estimation is that we've earned a 4 or a 5 seed if the dance started tomorrow.

I'm not sure how they say we have one of the weakest early season schedules.  We have already played Minnesota, Syracuse at the Dome and top 10 Gonzaga in addition to St. Mary's.  How many teams are playing a ton tougher in the early season?

Realtime's RPI is incorrect because they show Minn and the Zags as home games.  Officially they're neutral court, not that the RPI makes much difference to anybody in December besides fans of #14 Wisconsin - Green Bay.  That said was surprised to see STJ up to #24 on ESPN's RPI.

Realtimerpi is unreliable this year.  It used to be the best, but I guess they don't have the resources to keep up with ESPN.

We are #24 on ESPN and #26 on RPIForecast.
Win the next four and we'll be in top ten.
