2009 NY Point guards
« on: August 05, 2008, 03:36:45 PM »
Just did a search on Scout.

Are there no highly rates (hi-major projected)  NY PG's in the class of 09?

The 2 highest on scout show are from (my alma mater) Molloy

Russell Smith( reclass from 08 I think) and
Russell Johnson.

Both 2 star(on Scout). Is this a slow year for NYC PG's ?

If Stith doesn't make it here, do we know if Ty & Quincy can play the 1 in BE ?

Keith Spellman, Lamont Jones, Chaz Williams...are 2009 NYC PGs that I've heard are possible high major PGs
When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Spellman is a more of a shooting guard..
MoMo might be from NY but he is not longer an NYC player...

Chaz is very good...   rumors were around that he was looking to get out of verbal to Hofstra..   does anyone know if that is still true...?
