A St. John Brother Win Silver

Dont know much bout fencin but this brother Keeth Smart win the silver in the sabre. He straight outta Bklyn and went to St. John a few year back. This is like the first medal in fencing fo the U.S. in a long time.

Pretty impressive, yo.

Fencing might be the best sport in terms of success at St. John's in the past decade. I for one have never witnessed a match though.

There was another johnny. I believe it was the 6 or 8 man kayaking crewing, they won Gold or silver (it was late last night). 
The phrase perfect storm refers to the a simultaneous occurrence of events which, taken individually, would be far less powerful than the result of their chance combination. Such occurrences are, by their very nature, rare, and so even a slight change in any one event contributing to a ‘perfect storm’ would be sufficient to lessen the overall power of the final event.

I went to school with Keeth. He's a great guy and I'm glad he is feeling better and did well over in China.
