where is carls. Jr

Carl's Jr is a bit of a processed food chain whose burgers are way overrated but they gimmick them up a lot with off the board toppings like Pastrami Burgers, Prime Rib burgers, etc...   They're a step up from McD's, Jacks and BK purely in the size of their burgers but not in the league of true Cali burger places (of which there are tons, many small independents).  They do run great ads though, blatantly sexist like the girl on the mechanical bull and the Paris Hilton car washing spot.  Owned by the same company that owns Hardees (and Red Burrito and Green Burrito) and take the same approach to nutrition, no responsibility for their actions.  Lots of 1000 calorie options available off the menu.

I agree with whoever ranked Fatburger over In and Out.  Got a Fatburger just around the corner and whenever I feel like trying to bring on a heart attack I run over there.  Too old and out of shape to eat too many burgers though.

How come no love for Steak N Shake?

If your in the Natti you have a choice between Steak N Shake and Skyline Chili.  That's living right.  The downside is, well, that your in the Natti.

Nobody likes Cheeburger Cheeburger?

Five Guys is okay...a little too greasy for me.

Stake and Shake has good shakes but their burgers are too thin.  You need to get a triple cheeseburger to equal one burger

There are also cute women there. Definitely more of a "scene" than going to your local burger joint.

The crowd has been huge the few times I've been there, but I think they have a Web cam aimed on the line so you can take a peek and rush over when it's short.
