I didn't mean in terms of talent they are both very talented they just bring different things to the table. But I was referring to the depth and competition for PT at SF/PF spot.Nova has minutes but not until he is a Jr it seems to me

Who does Nova have at 3/4 playing over him?

For 2010  Pena will start at the 4 spot & stokes at the 3
For 2011 King will start at the 4 spot he will be a SR & Cheeks at the 3 or James Bell who I never seen play before but I think he is rated higher as a SF than Jayvaughn.
that leaves 2012 when King graduates for him to start and getting 30mins that he should of been getting since a Frosh
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

Is this actually confirmed? Not a shock if it is since some guys predicted it two years ago. The actual shocker would be juco over prep.

No but got it from a close source. Prep or juco, I just assumed Juco

Pinkston not happy with Baldi?

from zagoria twitter,

To clarify, JayVaughn Pinkston is academically qualified and coming to Nova, per Kimani Young. And he's not happy with rumors to contrary

I haven't seen it written anywhere else lately, so it would be pretty damn funny if you were the target. Kimani looks like a huge liar if Pinkston suddenly has to go elsewhere, though.

Haha I need to put out a waiver on this website. Don't believe everything you read on forums. Just because someone posts something does not mean its endorsed or confirmed by JohnnyJungle.com

Damn you Baldi!

Oh yea for the record I have not heard anything discrediting Jayvaughn's academic status. I also wish him the best of success at Villanova where I think he'll do great.

Its from a source very close to the situation. If this kid somehow gets eligible, something shady went down

I'll back up Baldi on this one just so you don't think he's blowing smoke. I know his source and that person is legit.

This blurb on Philly.com from April seems to indicate that he is qualified.  Another one of Nova's recruits is prepping for a year.

FWIW...In the comments section one poster says "Kennedy still can't qualify? Pinkston is NCAA qualified by the skin of his teeth after needing summer school last year. I wonder if Jay will do to Markus what he did to Malcolm Grant?"

Thanks for that update.  I have another question it raises.  Pinkston signed an LOI.  Does that mean if he decides to prep or JC he can't go to a BE team since he already signed an LOI or does the year (or two) removed make that rule moot?
