SJU had trouble with a D3 team. What did you expect, top 54?

It's gonna be a LONG year by his individual game predictions.  Only two BE wins.  Ouch.

I've looked @ Pomeroy's rankings for many years.
They are completely statistical based on wins/losses & strength of schedule.
His Computer program updates it EVERY morning during the season.
I dont think they take into account D2 & D3 games.

The rankings are very good- but completely meaningless untill a few games are played

How can anyone be shocked that we are rated so low. We have 7 players and only one with any experience at this level. I think we have some very talented players but our lack of size, depth, and experience is a lot to overcome in the best basketball conference America. I think we are better than the experts think but they are justified in putting our ranking low with how tough our schedule is.

Seton Hall & South Florida being that high is questionable but who cares. Games aren't won on paper or by computers they are won on the court. For everyone putting us down, lets prove them wrong
