Just read 2 of Erik Larson's book's: THE DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY (a National Book Award Finalist) and THUNDERSTRUCK.

Both non-fiction works are in paper back. Both great reads.

He is also the author of IN THE GARDEN OF BEASTS, which is/was on The N.Y. Times best sellers list.

Reading any of the aforementioned would be time well spent over Labor Day.
