Hate is such a strong word. I hate UCONN and khalid El amin. I hate Jim calhoun. I hate Georgetown. Don't think enough of their coach to hate him. Starting to hate Smith Rivera. NOVA is almost the new UCONN. Their fans are becoming just as bad. Jay Wright isn't good enough to hate (this could change this week). I like Lavin (this could also change this week). March is here and we are apart of it. We got cheated last time. Beat NOVA!

Curious from either of you, why the Cooley hate?
My sister will be Attending providence as a freshman next year and recently went to an admitted students day up there w my parents. One hour before the basketball game, Cooley took 15-20 mins out to talk to the admitted students and even posed for a picture w my sister. Apparently was a super nice guy - and man what coach would take the time to do that for just General students before game time (and all my dad a st johns fan was thinking was how pissed our fa base would be If we heard lavin was doing this before games ha ha...PC won the game). Anyway I always had a good impression of him back to his Fairfield days so just curious why the hate for him.

Trawick - easy one. Solid player though.
Don't really dislike any of the coaches. Was down on Cooley for a bit because it seemed like him and his staff disliked ours, but he has spoken very highly of our squad the past few years, and seems like a good guy.

Trawick is a punk. Xavier seems to be the new most hated team in the league. Of course, always hate G'town and Nova the most in this new league. JT3 or Willard for most hated coach.

Cant hate anything on Seton Hall until they are .500 in conference. Haven't done that since Terry Dehere days.

Objectively speaking, other teams don't like Lavin or arch.
Speaking as a st johns fan, I also dislike Lavin because he's hurt and insulted our team more than any opposing coach has.

In the old days you we ( SJU fans) hated Thompson, Boeheim , and then eventually Calhoun.
These days, fans hate their own coach . Seriously, that's pretty pathetic. Says a lot.

...and hate our Coach when we are having our best season in years....and the players love him....truly pathetic....says more about our fans...at least some of the ones who blog here...some are misguided...some really aren't our fans.
