Big East Basketball coaches coaches average salary is approximately $1m per year for football and basketball schools.
Norm Roberts Salary reported on the Coacheshotseat.com is $325,000. Fred Hill is reported at $500,000 and Mich Cronin of Cincinnati earns $750,000 per year. Wainwright of DePaul was reportedly making $800,000 per year in local Chicago papers prior to his firing.
Jim Calhoun makes $1.6m and is the highest paid state employee as reported by The Boston Globe. In UConn's latest report to the Federal Gov't it is reported that their Men's basketball program make $7.3m per year and their women's team $5.3m
John T III of G-Town is reported to make $2,033,238 annually by Charitynavigator.org and is the highest paid employee of G-Town. President makes $607,939.
So what does this tell us?
SJU and Fr. Harrington doesn't care about the basketball program.
