When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

No town can hype a player like NYC.
Taliek Brown, Andre Barrett, and Omar Cook were all top twenty recruits.
Then, there was the Lenny Cooke, Jason Frasor, and Curtis Sumpter class.

Andre Barrett played a little time in the league as a 12th man on the end of the bench for the Rockets and Van Gundy. Last I heard I think Cook was playing in the NBDL then perhaps Spain as of most recent?

Lemme just say that Scoop straight up embarrisin hisself wit that article.

1) Unfair to put it on Sebastian. So what if aint no star (yet). How many others young'uns flame out yo?

2) Khalid Reeves wuz never a point.

3) Mike Campbell wuz never a point.

4) Larry Ayuso wuz neva a point and when is he a straight up NYer?

5) "...it never was about just making the NBA." Yes, it was. Yes, it is. Yes, it will be.

6) "...having a million people in New York know who you are and what you do is more rewarding than having a million people around the country watch you on TNT or collecting a check with a million dollars on it." Thats just straight up crazy.

7) Jamaal Tinsley is a straight up street legend.

8) "...Kenny Satterfield or Andre Barrett, who dropped 68 and 66 points, respectively..." No disrespct because I luv them two, but my grams can drop 30 at Hoops in the Sun.

9) "love you for life" dont mean nuthin. It what you do fo me now on the streets. If any y'all disagree just take a look at how many peeps knew Goat back in the 80s fore the book and movie come out?

10) Jeremy Hazell aint no point.

11) Dwight Hardy aint no point.

12) "And now there's only Kemba Walker left to resurrect it." Straight up silly. Kemba is a playa no doubt, but he dont need no pressure like this.
